Flag Rules

All riders are expected to know and respect flagging signals used on the trails and at events.

Green Flag

All clear — course is open and conditions are normal. Proceed as planned.

Yellow Flag

Caution — hazard ahead. Slow down, no passing. Be prepared to stop.

Red Flag

Stop immediately. Clear the course and await further instruction from staff.

Black Flag

You are being directed off the course. Report to a staff member immediately.

📻

Trail Etiquette & Comms

  • Yield to uphill traffic — downhill riders give way to those climbing
  • Announce yourself clearly when approaching blind corners or crests
  • Do not pass unless you have a clear line of sight and the rider ahead acknowledges
  • If you stop on trail, move to the side immediately — do not block the line
  • Help riders in need — if someone is down, stop and assist or flag for help

Radio Channel: All riders on the trail network communicate on channel "NETWORK". Program your radio before heading out.

📋
